Power Engineering for Industry / ELECTRO INSTALL
19–21 October 2021
International Exhibition Centre - Kyiv, Ukraine
Advanced development of the energy sector is the basis for modern economy growth. The main drivers of modernization of power generation and electrical grid capacities are technological innovations that ensure a balanced unity of electricity generation, distribution and consumption. The use of modern technologies and equipment allows ensuring reliable and efficient operation of electric power systems, high quality of electric power supplied to the end consumers in the industrial, housing and utility, agriculture, transport, construction sectors.
New opportunities for innovative development of the Ukrainian power sector are demonstrated at the International trade fair "Power Engineering for Industry". The fair started its history in 2003 when the Executive Assembly of the World Energy Council was held in Kyiv at the IEC and gathered 344 delegates from 65 countries of the world.
Today the trade fair enjoys the status of the largest industry event, the main meeting place for the engineering and energy sector elite, the entire electric power industry professional community of Ukraine and other countries. Each year the International Exhibition Center hosts a large professional audience: executives of power generation, electric grid, electric power supply companies, leading manufacturers of high‑tech products, scientists, experts, professionals from various industries and infrastructure facilities, financiers and investors.
Every year, more and more international and Ukrainian electrical and power engineering industry leading companies take part in the event. Their technologies can significantly increase automation and digitalization in electric power sector and reduce energy costs of production.
Today the future development of energy sector is considered in the paradigm of its impact on climate change and energy security. The digital transition in the electric power industry not only allows increased efficiency of the traditional power system, but also opens up new opportunities of involving renewable energy sources and distributed generation in the energy market.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme.
In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international/national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, AUMA, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
